CPR and First Aid Training

You can help save lives by learning CPR.

Hands-Only CPR

Hands-Only CPR is CPR without the mouth-to-mouth breaths. The American Heart Association has determined any attempt at CPR is better than no attempt and hands-only CPR has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR with mount-to-mouth in the first minutes of cardiac arrest. Learn the basics in a brief online video and more about Hands-Only CPR at AHA website.

Take a class and become certified

Fire District 1 also offers the American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid/CPR with AED class once a month.

The class includes certification for adult, child and infant CPR. Certification is good for two years. Students must be at least 12 years old. The cost is $70.

Class is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fire District 1 Headquarters, 12425 Meridian Ave. S., Everett (near Mariner High School).
